I had the pleasure of attending the amazing Texas Conference for Women. The Texas Conference for Women provides connection, motivation, networking, inspiration and skill building for thousands of Texas women each year. Hosted by First Lady Anita Perry, the Conference offered incredible opportunities for business networking, professional development and personal growth. The non-profit event features inspirational keynote speakers, skill-building breakout sessions and ample opportunities to develop new relationships with other women.
It was an amazing experience I was able to meet with world-changing entrepreneurs such as Kimberly Bryant who is the founder and executive director of Black Girls Code, Megan Grassell the founder of of YellowBerry and Alison Brushaber chief product officer of Hail Merry, each of them challenged and inspired me to reach for my dreams in spite of my age. The highlights of the weekend centered around talking with different vendors who were representing their unique brand stories. I was reminded of how important image and branding are to success.
